The annual shareholder’s meeting will take place on Wednesday June 30th at 7PM at the Seafarers’ and Interational House at 123 East 15th St, second floor.
At the meeting, the Board of Directors will be seeking at least one new member. The long-troubled TGI Fridays in Union Square is finally set to close, as the building goes on the market. “Union Square is so hot down there these days with real quality restaurants it just doesn’t compete well,” explains operator Dennis Riese.
Double mask up + grab your popcorn: movie theaters can reopen as soon as Friday, March 5th. Officials announced that theaters are permitted to reopen at 25% capacity, with added safety measures including mask mandates and assigned seating.
The Union Square area is home to six movie theaters, three of which will be open on Friday, March 5th, including the two AMC Theaters at 19th and 11th Streets, and the Village East Quad.
