A Dept. of Health closure for La Maison de Croque Monsieur, but they claim they will reopen within a couple of days.
They’ve been under construction for ages, but it looks like the condos at 82 University Place, where the beloved Cedar Tavern used to be, are finally ready to be sold. Starting around 1.5 million.

This week (June 6-10), contractors will continue to excavate earth and rock, and load out material. We will complete the underpinning of the adjacent buildings. Installation of rakers, line drilling, lagging and sheeting around the perimeter will progress as well. Concrete foundation walls are scheduled to begin.

Gothamist reports that Nordstrom is very close to signing on to take over the Virgin Megastore space to install one of its discount Nordstrom Rack stores. Sounds fine, although some bloggers would much rather have a Target there.
