  • Latest New School Construction Update

    Our students have moved into the dormitory which is on the top eight floors with its own entrance. The first day of classes was August 26th and a new semester is now underway. It is anticipated that the academic portion of the building (first eight floors) will be completed in time for this year’s second semester. We will keep you posted. Some of you can see our green roof which is also an exciting addition.

    Next week (September 9 to September 13), material and equipment deliveries and installation work will continue on the academic floors inside the building.

    The following week (September 16 to September 20), material and equipment deliveries and installation work will continue on academic floors.

  • The $30,000 Dog Fountain

    Parks & Recreation, the Union Square Partnership and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has unveiled a brand new fountain at the dog run in Union Square Park. The ASPCA donated $30,000 to the Union Square Partnership for the creation, installation, and future maintenance of the fountain, which can be used by both dogs and their owners. Drink up.

  • Latest New School Construction Update

    Next week, 03/11/2013 – 03/15/2013 Material and equipment deliveries and installation work will continue on all floors inside the building. Roof work, work on the new sidewalks around the building, dismantling of the exterior construction hoist and related exterior building work will also continue.

    The following week, 03/18/2013 – 03/22/2013 Material and equipment deliveries and installation work will continue on all floors and roofs. Sidewalk work and dismantling of the exterior construction hoist and related exterior work will also continue.

    We anticipate the take down of the 14th Street sidewalk shed to begin within the next 2 weeks.
