The corner of 4th Ave. and 13th St. is vacant once again.

It’ll be better at 50 percent, but Virgin has upped its closing discount from 20 percent to 30 percent. Worth a browse, especially for classical music.

Right across the street and down one block from the popular Unregular Pizza, you’ll now find Unregular Bakery at 4th Ave. and 12th St. in the former location of that place that sold pizza by the inch for years.

Expect slightly weird variations on usual bakery favorites.

Word is that the neighborhood’s first 7-11 convenience store will move in on 14th St. near 6th Ave.

It was the last operating storefront in the Bowlmor building.

50 years is a long time for anyone or anything. That’s why it’s sad to see Village Copiers on 13th St. fade away at least as a storefront. It was the oldest business on the block. By far. Who knows what will fill that unusual below-ground space next?
