Union Square Night Market Starts July 11
ByDonUnion Square will host its first-ever Night Market by Urbanspace. Union Square is no stranger to Urbanspace, as the company is responsible for putting on the park’s beloved annual Holiday Market. However, this will be the first time Urbanspace will operate an open-air food market during summer nights.
The Union Square Night Market will run for four Thursdays, starting July 11th. More than 20 vendors will come together to bring New Yorkers some of the best bites in the city. It will all take place along the South Plaza of Union Square Park.
So whether you’re interested in grabbing something to eat on your summer commute home or planning a date night, the Union Square Night Market will serve as the perfect venue for either!
Torch and Crown Schedules Park Fun
ByDonTorch & Crown Beer Garden is back for its third season in the Union Square Park Pavilion, serving up locally brewed beers and fan favorites like the Lou Burger, pizza, and pretzels.
From now through early November, enjoy:
- Jazz with Geoff Burke on Sundays, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Trivia nights with NYC Trivia League on Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
- Live music Fridays with Shawn Parsons and Matthew Lee & The Standbys, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Everyman Espresso Renovates
ByDonOn a recent visit to Everyman Espresso on East 13th Street, we were stopped by a sign saying the coffee shop will close for renovations starting June 25th. A barista inside who explained the work should take 3 – 4 weeks. After that, they’ll have snazzy new interiors.
