New York City’s most iconic holiday market is back. The Union Square Holiday Market by Urbanspace returns this year on Thursday, November 17th with 170+ vendors showcasing a dynamic mix of global cuisines, original art, handcrafted accessories, and more. The market will be open through Saturday, December 24th.

The Union Square Partnership is teaming up with Mount Sinai Health System and Paragon Sports to offer FREE flu vaccinations to the Union Square-14th Street community. To take part, you must register in advance for an appointment on Tuesday, November 1st. No insurance is required. If you cannot attend the clinic, please visit the bottom of our webpage for information about how to get your flu shot at several Union Square-14th Street pharmacies. There should be no cost to you with most insurance. Please note: the clinic is not happening at a Mount Sinai location, but instead at Paragon Sports at the corner of 18th Street + Broadway.

Open House New York, the annual architecture tour, is offering tours of the new Zero Irving at 124 E 14th St on Friday, October 21st.

Reyna, the new restaurant that is taking over the Le Midi space in our building on the 13th St. side, is now about seven months late, but work is proceeding quickly. You may have noticed they have already installed not one, not two, but EIGHT AC units and fans on the roof of the courtyard, and we can only imagine what they will sound like when they all turn on. Such is life in the big city. To learn more about Reyna, which originated in Toronto, visit their Web site.

Now upstairs at Chard, formerly Le Croque Monsieur, on 13th St., is Singlish, a Singapore-flavored high-end speakeasy with delicious and breathtakingly expensive drinks. Save it for special occasions. Reservations recommended.

Amazing. The 10-foot-tall golden horse that will serve as decor in the upcoming PF Chang’s on University is still cooling its heels outside after more than six weeks. Why don’t they move it inside?

Serafina is expanding its chain of quick in-and-out shops by being the first retailer to arrive in the new apartment building on University between 12th and 13th. It’s been about five years since those spaces were ready for occupancy. Now we’ll have yet another spot to buy overpriced coffee.

See your mail or e-mail to get the Zoom log in information for this year’s annual shareholder’s meeting on Wednesday, October 12 at 7 PM.

It doesn’t look like much now, but a new bar, Everything’s Jake, is coming to 13th St. between University and Broadway. It’ll be your place to go for a nightcap after dinner at PF Chang’s.
