Next week (September 17 to September 21), Material and equipment deliveries and installation work will continue on all floors. Curtain wall installation on upper floors will continue. Curtain wall installation on the lower floors will proceed along 5th ave inside the construction site. To aid in the installation of the lower level curtain wall a crane will be arriving on site Monday, the 17th. The crane will be inside the construction perimeter and will not affect pedestrian or automotive traffic.

Glaze Teriyaki Grill has opened up near Union Square. Bak Korean Kitchen, which shared our building on 13th St., i\s no more. It was the fifth restaurant in that location in eight years. However, the Karaoke Cave downstairs is undergoing renovation and will reopen.

The No Difference shoe store on the corner of Broadway and 12th has been transformed into the neighborhood’s second Pret a Manger. Hungry?

Additionally over the holiday weekend the site will be open on Saturday, September 1st but will be closed on Monday, the 3rd.

–The name of the cafe may be Maison de Croque Monsieur.
–The owners are from the Petite Abielle group.
–They intend to keep the antique signage on the building, which is great.
